Evident ID Expands C-Suite, Opens European HQ, and Sets Lofty U.S. Hiring Goal
Data privacy regulations and rising cost of data breaches driving momentum for customers seeking to eliminate risk associated with handling personal data

ATLANTA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Evident ID, the revolutionary identity and credential verification platform, today announced it has opened its first international office in Kraków, Poland, expanded its C-suite, and aims to triple its overall headcount in the next year. Founded in Atlanta, Evident’s unique approach to verification is gaining momentum among companies in nearly every industry that need verifiable personal information about employees, contractors, partners, or customers, but want to limit their risk for holding that data.

“Data privacy regulations and the increasing cost of data breaches are driving companies to seek out solutions for getting the verified personal information they need, without having to handle the personal data themselves,” said David Thomas, CEO of Evident ID. “This is the challenge we solve with the Evident platform. The accelerating interest in our capabilities is what’s driving our momentum, our company growth, and our recruitment of top executive and engineering talent.”

To meet the increasing demand for their unique solution, Evident has hired Matt Quarles as chief revenue officer (CRO) to drive integration and alignment across all revenue-generating processes, including growing relationships with Evident’s existing customers, like Wonolo and Porch, as well as attracting new business and managing customer success.

As Evident’s first CRO, Quarles brings more than 20 years of experience leading sales, consulting, and customer success at organizations ranging from startups to large enterprises, across all major customer verticals. Most recently, Quarles led all sales, pre-sales, and marketing efforts globally at data privacy and security provider Ionic Security.

“Expediting the speed of business for our clients requires us to continue hiring the best of the best,” Thomas added. “Matt has the relationships, expertise, and background to ensure that we continue to scale rapidly and build trust with our customers and partners.”

In another move to accommodate their tremendous growth, Evident has opened a new office in Kraków, Poland. Located in the southern part of Kraków, near the historical district of Podgorze, the new office is less than 2 miles from Wawel Royal Castle. In tandem with its U.S. expansion, Evident is actively hiring for a variety of roles in Kraków, including software engineers, testers, and product managers.

“Kraków has an incredibly strong startup culture and a deeply skilled talent pool,” said Damian Starosielsky, chief technology officer and co-founder at Evident ID. “Our presence there allows us to hire the engineering resources we need to continue to grow our platform and services, connecting businesses in nearly every industry across the globe with all of the verified information they need, safely and securely.”
