Problem:

The company started a new business line, providing interesting experiences to people on vacation around the world. There was a need to hook up customers with locals to provide hyper-local non-touristy experiences. The company was able to conduct simple background checks, but did not have a system for advanced validations such as licenses, credentials, qualifications, or insurance information, putting them at risk. After attempting to handle this in-house, the company realized they didn’t have access to the correct data sources and weren’t able to confirm information was authentic.
